The Bill (Reg. No.3081) supplements the effective Law with definition of the term "teleselling", specifies general requirements for advertisement, sponsorship of television and radio programs with the use of names of medicine, medical equipment, methods of prevention, diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation, prohibits teleselling of the said goods and services, and coordinates the Law with the European Convention on Transfrontier Television.
The Bill takes into account the motion, pursuant to which, "the broadcast of films and telefilms lasting more than 45 minutes, can be interrupted by advertisement or any editorial, author´s or information material (including announcements of programs) every 45 minutes".
The Committee members believe that adoption of the Bill will facilitate integration of our State into the European television space, discover new extra opportunities for boosting the activity of domestic television organizations concerning international exchange of programs and their co-production.
